Different products can have different shipping rules based on the region they are shipped to. Some can be replaceable and returnable in certain areas while in others they aren’t. With Getmeashop you can set product based shipping rules for different products where you can specify such constraints.


You will have to set up product based shipping in two major steps.


STEP 1  Adding the regions where shipping rules will be applied.


After you have logged in to your GMAS account, follow the steps given below to add product based shipping rules

  • Move your cursor to the left side of the window and click on the fifth option of  “Shipping”

  • Select the option of “Product based shipping”

  • You will land on the product based shipping page.


Click on the “Add Product PIN/ZIP code” button on the top right corner of the page.

  • A pop up window will appear. Fill in the relevant details.

  • Country - Select the country from the down menu where the products can be delivered.

  • PIN/ZIP code - Enter the code of the above selected country.

  • Click on “Save” button.


Click on the “Add product PIN/ZIP code range” option.

  • A pop up window will appear. Fill in the relevant details.

  • Country - Select the country where the products can be delivered.

  • Lower PIN/ZIP code for PIN/ZIP code range - Enter the lower value of PIN code of the above selected country where the products will be delivered.

  • Upper PIN/ZIP code for PIN/ZIP code range - Enter the upper value of PIN code of the above selected country where the products will be delivered.

  • Click on the “Save” button.


STEP 2  Specifying shipping rules for different products


You have added the regions for product based shipping rules. Now follow the steps given below to add shipping rules for different products.

  • After you have logged in to your GMAS account , move your cursor to the left side of the window and select the third option of “Inventory”.

  • Now click on the “Products” option. A list of all your added products will appear.

  • Click on the “Pencil icon” in the same row as that of the product you want to enable shipping rules of.

  • You will land on the edit page of that particular product.

  • Scroll down and under the “Shipping” heading click on the “shipping rules” option highlighted in blue. 

  • You will land on the “Product shipping rules”. Fill in the relevant details.

  • Product PIN/ZIP codes - Select all the PIN/ZIP codes from the drop down menu where this product can be delivered.

  • Product PIN/ZIP codes Ranges - From the drop down menu select the range of PIN/ZIP codes where the product can be delivered.

  • Now you will see the following four checkboxes. Select the ones you want to enable in the selected region.

    • Cash-on-delivery enabled

    • Order Items Replace enabled

    • Order Items Returns enabled

    • Prepaid enabled

  • Restriction Type - From the drop down menu choose 'Not Allowed' if you don't want to ship to a region, 'Allow' otherwise.

  • Fallback rule - In case you have not set up a rule for any country then you can choose amongst the three options available here which will be applied in that country for the particular product. These options are

    • a)'Use country wise rules' would mean to use the country wide rules you have added in your shipping settings. If no country is found then shipping is allowed by default.

    • b)'Allow shipping' would mean allow shipping i.e. COD, Prepaid, Returns and Replace would be considered as allowed

    • c)'Not allow shipping' would mean to not allow shipping to PIN/ZIP codes not mentioned in the current rule.

  • Click on the “Save” button.

NOTE- You can also upload product based shipping rules in bulk by clicking on the bulk uploads option available in the product based shipping window.
